The EMT class of 2015 participated in the 2014 St. Louis  Labor Day Parade. Along with marching, we had our Ambulance and Fire Engine in the parade. We had a lot of people marching in different uniforms supporting different groups. Our class had their first experience in this Labor Day Parade as we came together as one. We had an amazing turn out; there were 24 EMT students participating in this terrific event. Students of the EMT class of 2015 were excited, as they marched in the parade. We were joined by other Gateway STEM High School classes including the CNA Class and our Junior ROTC. There were people on each side of the street shouting and waving to us saying “Go Emergency Responders”. Additionally, we handed out pencils and flyers that were well received by the parade goers.
